Certificate Overview

The Certified Management Consultant (CMC) Certificate is a prestigious, globally recognized professional credential that enhances the holder’s reputation, recognition, and expertise in the management consulting field. This certification is accredited by the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes (CMC-Global), an organization recognized by the United Nations, which qualifies management consultants through its affiliated centers worldwide, including IMC Jordan of Management Consultants and Trainers in Jordan (IMC Jordan). The CMC certificate holds significant value, particularly in countries with management consulting centers affiliated with CMC-Global.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Eligibility: Candidates must be actively working in management consulting (as either external or internal consultants) when submitting their CMC application.
  2. Educational and Professional Experience: Candidates must possess at least a bachelor’s degree and have a minimum of three years of practical experience in management consulting. This experience must include at least 1,200 working hours in the past 12 months, detailed in the CMC application form.
  3. Membership Requirement: Candidates must be full members of IMC Jordan and have fulfilled all membership obligations.
  4. Training Course: Attendance of the CMC preparatory training course is mandatory before submitting the application.
  5. Application Submission: Candidates must complete and submit the CMC application along with all supporting documents (qualifications, experience, accreditations, and ID). This includes an “Engagement Summary” for three management consulting tasks, and three references from clients who will complete a “Reference Questionnaire” sent directly to the CMC Committee.
  6. Examinations: Candidates must pass a written examination followed by an interview with the CMC Committee.

Process

  1. Application Submission: Candidates submit their CMC application and required documents to IMC Jordan using the designated form.
  2. Verification: The CMC Committee reviews the application for accuracy and completeness and reserves the right to accept or reject it.
  3. Examination Scheduling: If application is accepted, the CMC Committee will schedule the candidate for the written examination.
  4. Interview Appointment: Candidates who pass the written exam will be invited for an interview with the CMC Committee.
  5. Accreditation Process: Successful candidates will have their results ratified by IMC Jordan Board and sent to CMC-Global for final accreditation.
  6. Notification and Certification: Candidates must pass a written examination followed by an interview with the CMC Committee.
  7. Certificate Validity: The CMC Certificate is valid for three years and must be renewed according to the recertification terms set by IMC Jordan.
  8. Fees: The one-time CMC certificate fee is 200 dinars, and renewal every three years costs 100 dinars. Course participation fees vary based on the format (in-person or remote) and the number of participants.
