In his comment, Chairman of the Board of Directors Dr. Hamdalla Mubarak said: “The Management consulting sector has become one of the fastest growing sectors in the world. To keep up with its pace, we have to lay down policies and mold strategies that could protect workers and beneficiaries of this sector.” He emphasized on the importance and viability of this market in the Arab countries, especially the GCC region.

He added: “The board of directors has conducted six meetings in 2009, during which they followed up on all issues pertaining to IMC - Jordan and the Management Consulting and Training professions. The general assembly reached suitable solutions and has been keen on executing them, in accordance with the sector and the Institute’s best interest.”

Sector leaders and members of ICMCI from 48 different countries will participate in the conference that aims at discussing the global financial situation and its effects on the consulting businesses.

From her side, IMC – Jordan Executive Director, Reema Nasser prized the board of directors’ efforts and expertise offered to support the global event that will be established with a mutual vision between ICMCI and IMC – Jordan, to support the notion of management training and consulting in the region.

She said: “Arab trainers and consultants working in the region are duty bound to consolidate their efforts to benefit from this assembly of the sector leaders, to stabilize the best practices and enrich the region with the experiences and services it needs.”
